"Feng" in Feng Shui refers to the flow of air. In the practice of Feng Shui, the flow of air is believed to affect the surrounding energy, which in turn impacts people's fortune and health. Therefore, "Feng" is considered one significant factors in Feng Shui. To enhance one's fortune, we can adjust the energy by arranging their living spaces, incorporating specific plants, and more, to cultivate better outcomes.
When we talk about air, particularly flowing air, we can equate it to wind, as wind is a factort of our environment, and it is created by the weather. A location deemed auspicious is well-suited for habitation, and we term such places as having good Feng Shui.
Traditionally, the study of wind involves mountains. and all the time, chinese believe in spiritual mountains also lived many immortals.and many famous mountains have been the religious sites.Mountains serve as prime sources of high-energy winds, acting as barriers and collectors of wind energy. Hence, in ancient times and now , many practitioners practice on mountains, which known as Xiuxian, believed to bring one closer to the immortal.
Usually we don't build our homes on the wind outlet. If it is a strong wind outlet, it is not good for our health and wealth, because it is just a passing-way wind and will not bring us too much benefit. A place with good Feng Shui usually has no obvious wind. In fact, good feng shui place is similar to the role of a treasure bowl, gathering all the good winds-energy together.
In the actual home, if there is obvious wind indoors, we can modify the indoor Feng Shui by configuring screens, placing anti negative energies ornaments, and adjusting doors and windows. In the future, we will talk about the wind adjustment types in detail.
